Partner terms for restaurants

Plain-English terms for selling on MunchPies. Last updated 2 October 2026.

The short version

1. Joining and going live

You sign up, send your menu, and give us your FSSAI licence number and a UPI ID for payouts. We check your details and menu before your restaurant appears to customers. We may decline or remove a listing, for example if the licence isn't valid or the food or service causes repeated complaints.

2. Your menu and prices

3. Orders

4. Refunds

When an order is rejected or cancelled, the customer is refunded in full and no commission is charged. If a customer is refunded because of a problem caused by the restaurant — missing or wrong items, or food that isn't fit to eat — the refunded food amount is deducted from your next payout. We'll tell you about every such case and listen to your side first.

5. Payouts

Each Monday we pay, by UPI to the ID you gave us, the food price of last week's delivered orders minus commission, plus delivery fees for orders you delivered yourself. Your partner app shows every order and payout. Tell us within 30 days if anything looks wrong.

6. Food safety and the law

You are responsible for the food you prepare: hygiene, quality, and holding a valid FSSAI licence and any other licences your restaurant needs. You're responsible for your own taxes on your income.

7. Customer details

You see a customer's name, phone and address only to prepare and deliver their order. Don't use them for anything else, such as marketing.

8. Stopping

You can stop selling on MunchPies at any time — tell us, or pause orders in the app. We can pause or remove a listing for serious or repeated problems. Money owed for orders already delivered is still paid. If these terms change, we'll tell you at least 14 days before.
