1. About MunchPies

MunchPies (munchpies.com) is operated by MunchPies, Kochi, Kerala, India. We run the website, the ordering assistant, payments, customer support and delivery arrangements. The restaurants on MunchPies are independent businesses. Each dish shows which restaurant makes it, along with the restaurant's Google rating.

2. Using MunchPies

• You must be 18 or older to place an order, or order with a parent's or guardian's permission.
• Give a correct name, mobile number and delivery location. Riders use the pin you set on the map.
• Don't misuse the service: no fake orders, no abuse of riders or restaurant staff, no attempts to break or overload the site.

3. The assistant

Our ordering assistant is an AI. It suggests dishes from the live menu and helps you order, and it can make mistakes. Always check the dish, price and total on the checkout card before paying. Calorie and nutrition figures are estimates. The free diet plan is general guidance, not medical advice; see our health disclaimer.

4. Orders and prices

• Menu prices are set by the restaurant. The checkout shows the food total, delivery fee, any taxes and the final amount before you pay.
• An order is confirmed once the payment succeeds and the restaurant accepts it. If the restaurant doesn't accept it in time, or can't make it, the order is cancelled and refunded in full.
• One order comes from one restaurant. Meal plans are a set of separate orders paid together.
• Dishes can sell out. If something in your order isn't available, the restaurant or MunchPies will contact you, and any part we can't supply is refunded.

5. Payment

Payments are processed securely by Razorpay (cards, UPI, net banking, wallets). MunchPies never sees or stores your card or UPI PIN. We don't accept cash on delivery, and riders must never ask you for money.

8. Food, allergies and safety

Restaurants prepare the food and are responsible for its quality, hygiene and ingredients. Every restaurant on MunchPies must hold a valid FSSAI licence. If you have a food allergy, say so in the note to the restaurant and check with them before eating. Ingredient information may not be complete. Eat food promptly after delivery.

9. Ratings and reviews

You can rate an order after delivery. Keep reviews honest and respectful. We may remove reviews that are abusive, fake or unrelated to the order.

10. Liability

We are responsible for running MunchPies with reasonable care and skill, and for refunds as set out in our policies. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses. Our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or that can't be limited by law.

11. Complaints and grievances

Write to us on WhatsApp (99460 01222) or at hello@munchpies.com with your order number. Our Grievance Officer is the MunchPies Grievance Officer, at the same email address. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.

12. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do. These terms are governed by Indian law, and the courts in Ernakulam, Kerala have jurisdiction.
